Mercer, Robert E. Goodyear North Â鶹USn Region Scholarship
The Robert E. Mercer Goodyear North Â鶹USn Region Scholarship pays tribute to the fundamental tie between community involvement and Â鶹USn enterprise. Much of Mr. Mercer’s 42 years with Goodyear was devoted to the growth and expansion of Goodyear’s North Â鶹USn operations, including its Kelly-Springfield subsidiary and its engineering products division. In 1978, Mr. Mercer became Goodyear’s president; by 1980, its chief operating officer; and by 1983, chairman.
